Student at Diablo Valley College · AI & Data Science · Game Development

About

I’m an aspiring AI engineer exploring machine learning, data science, and game development. I like building visual tools and playful projects that connect algorithms with design. I also co‑founded the Asian‑Pacific Culture and Education Association (APCEA), a nonprofit that supports youth education and cultural exchange.

Hobbies: fencing, drums, chess, Go, and floor hockey.

Current Focus & Goals

• Research: image processing, model interpretability, and generative workflows.
• Projects: visual novel tooling, character art pipelines, and AI art pipelines.

• Short‑term: internships & research collaborations.
• Long‑term: transfer to a 4‑year program in AI engineering, data science, or game design.

Projects

  • Tree‑based Cubist Stylization (TAO) image processing research
Summer 2024 internship in Prof. Carreira‑Perpiñán’s group (UC Merced). Built pipelines to transform images into cubist‑style vector segments via oblique decision trees and TAO optimization.
  • DreamEupho Visual Novel — AI Art & UI Design Lead 2024—present AI art UI design
Designing a visual novel inspired by Sound! Euphonium. Leading AI art generation for characters, backgrounds, and expressions.

Involvement

  • Nonprofit (APCEA): Co-founder & CEO. We run youth-led workshops, cultural exchange events, and education programs across the Asian-Pacific region. Our initiatives include language learning, cultural festivals, and mentorship for students interested in global collaboration. Visit site
